Official Bio…

“Don’t let the magnitude of your pain hide the miracle in your pain…”

Shenine Wiggs is a graphics illustrator and interior decorator from Columbia, South Carolina, who previously served as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant in the US Army. She graduated from Ashford University with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and has spent a decade studying guilt, shame, courage, vulnerability, pain and empathy.

While she has always had a busy life and career, Shenine has also found time to follow her great passion for Christian writing. She published her first book, Be A Wife Not A Knife, three years ago and her recent offering is Beauty for Ashes, which encourages the reader to understand that pain has a greater purpose in our lives. She believes God’s word should be more than food for fuel, but a lifestyle.

Today Shenine lives in Columbia, SC, with her husband Jerry, their 5 children and two dogs. When she has free time she enjoys painting, creating, sewing and photographing nature but she also devotes time to others as well, putting together homeless care packages, working as an ambassador and sponsor for Save Our Children’s efforts in Trinidad and Tobago, and being an advocate against Human Trafficking.

As she makes her way through life, Shenine wants to continue to help those in need, inspire others through her books and be a loving spouse and parent. She understands that she is far from perfect and sometimes comes up short, but she is working to fix it and develop a more genuine awareness of her natural being.
